Designer with a vision
For TAFE Queensland student Hazem Elsheltawi, being a part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) was not a project to advance his career. It was a way of thanking the teaching staff at TAFE Queensland for going above and beyond, and to set an example for other students on what they too can achieve.
Broadcasting to the world
For 24-year-old TAFE Queensland student Julia Marr, being a part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Host Broadcasting team was something she never dreamed of when commencing her Diploma of Screen and Media at TAFE Queensland Gold Coast Coomera campus just one year ago.
Designing his future
When Garnet Evans found his passion for interior design and decoration at TAFE Queensland, he never thought it would lead him to a design role for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Athlete’s Village - yet here he is.
Driven to dream
For Gold Coast local, wife and mum of two, Rebecca Moore, being part of a major sporting event in Queensland has always been a dream. Thanks to TAFE Queensland’s partnership with the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC), Rebecca is taking on a once in a lifetime opportunity as a volunteer at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).
